  • Is there any Age limitation?

    Yes, candidates under the age of 45 can apply.

  • What is the minimum qualification required?

    Diploma/Degree in the respective education field.

  • Is there any registration fee?

    No, But you will have to pay a service charge of 1000 AED after getting selected by the employer.

  • Do I have to pay the course Fees?

    No. The total course fees will come to 10,000 AED, which will be taken care by the company.

  • What is the course duration?

    It will take 45 days to complete each module.

  • Until which level I have to pass/clear?

    There are three modules, namely A1, A2 and B1. Normally, it takes about 6 to 8 months to complete these three levels.

  • Do I have to pay the Exam fees?

    No, You will only have to write the final module exam and the fees will be taken care of by the company.

  • What happens if I fail?

    You will be given one more chance to appear for the exam after a two-week additional language training.

  • How easy the course is?

    The German alphabet has Roman letters and are easy compared to other foreign languages.

  • Procedure for getting a job?

    Firstly, you get yourself registered with GreenEdge and send your CV. After initial evaluation of the CV, we will call you for a personal meeting to screen your suitability for the job. Thereafter employer interviews will be arranged, and successful candidates get selected. Once this is done, you start learning German language up to the required level. Parallel to this, we start processing your documents for the visa. Once you have successfully completed your German courses and the visa has been issued, take the flight to Germany and the employer receives you at the airport.

  • What is the minimum time required for processing the Visa?

    Approximately two months after passing the required German language examinations.

  • What type of Visa I will be granted?

    Employment visa with long-term validity.

    GreenEdge and the candidates do not have to bear any costs in this regard.

  • When will we get the PR?

    You may apply for the Permanent Residence after 3 years. According to the latest Immigration Act, you can even apply for the German Nationality after 5 years!

  • What is the minimum salary package?

    It largely depends on your qualifications, experience, and the industry you will work for. All companies in Germany must strictly follow the Government regulations on salaries, without any discrimination between locals and foreign workers.

  • How much Tax should I pay in Germany?

    Tax rates vary from 14% - 45% depending upon your total income.

  • What are the tax exceptions in Germany?

    Alimony payments, Charitable contributions, Childcare expenses, Education expenses, Social security contributions, Health insurance and long-term care contributions, Unemployment insurance contributions, Pension scheme contributions and Mortgage deduction are exempted.

  • Will I get a family status?

    According to the new Immigration Act, you are permitted to bring your core family members (spouse and children) to Germany. You need to have a suitable apartment or house to accommodate the family members, as per the German specifications.

  • What are the living cost in Germany?

    On average, to cover your living expenses in Germany, you will need around 800 euros per month. Suppose you have a family of three members, you will need approximately 1800 Euros to cover the costs of rent and living expenses.

  • What are the Education benefits in Germany?

    Education is completely free in Germany for both natives and foreigners living there.

  • What are the medical benefits in Germany?

    Everyone, regardless of the income, has healthcare coverage and access to affordable medical care. Corresponding medical insurance premium will be deducted from the monthly salary.

  • What is the Annual Vacation you receive?

    You will receive 25-30 days of leave, even on a 5-day workweek.

  • Can Indian Parents settle in Germany?

    As per German laws, parents of the foreign employees do not belong to the core family. However, parents may apply for a long-term visit visa, which allow them to spend 90 days in every half-year.
